Cormac Kearns has been Managing Director of Masonite Ireland since 2007. Based in Leitrim, Masonite Ireland is a subsidiary of Masonite International Corp based in Tampa, FL one of the largest door manufacturers in the world. The Carrick-on-Shannon facility manufacturers components for the door industry throughout Europe. Cormac is a Chartered Certified Accountant and holds a Masters of Business Administration from the National University of Ireland, Galway. Prior to Masonite, Cormac worked in Private Practice and Retail.
Originally from the US, Maureen moved to Ireland in 1999 to help establish DeCare Operations Ireland Limited, a claims and shared services centre based in Claremorris, Co. Mayo. Maureen has led DeCare Dental Insurance Ireland from start-up stages to become Ireland’s only specialist dental insurer and oral health company. Dental insurance is now positioned as one of the fastest growing benefits in Ireland and DeCare is proud to serve individuals and companies throughout Ireland, ranging in size from 10 to 5000 staff. There are now over 100 people working from DeCare's operations in Claremorris and Dublin. Maureen has a Bachelor of Science (Marketing) from Boston College Carroll School of Management, a Masters of Business Administration from the National University of Ireland, Galway and is a Certified Insurance Practitioner qualification from the insurance institute of Ireland. Maureen is the Chairperson of Mayo Cancer Association and a member of various associations such as: Insurance Ireland,the MBAA Association, the American Chamber of Commerce, the Dublin Chamber of Commerce and the Claremorris Chamber of Commerce.
Chief executive of Arrabawn co-operative since 2005. Arrabawn is involved in the manufacture of dairy ingredients in its plant in Nenagh Co Tipperary, has liquid milk processing facilities in Kilconnel Co Galway and an agri business spanning the Midwest region. A business graduate of the University of limerick Conor holds a masters in business administration from Dublin City University.
James Winters is the Vice President of Manufacturing, Global Joint Reconstruction and is responsible for all aspects of supply chain for the Joints manufacturing network and is also the chair for the DePuy Ireland Joints Global Supply Chain board. Since 2012, James has also sat on the Irish Medtech Association Board and was the Chair of the board in 2016.
Prior to this, James was the Plant Manager for the DePuySynthes Ireland Manufacturing Operation – an orthopaedics medical device manufacturer employing approximately 800 employees. In this role, James was responsible for leading and managing the Cork Manufacturing site as well as continuing to accelerate the transformation of operations to a fully integrated LEAN supply chain. As a result of this effort, the DePuySynthes Ireland site was awarded the Shingo Prize in 2014.
He has over 20 years of experience in various companies including Motorola, Sanmina -SCI and DePuy Synthes, Johnson and Johnson.
Dr Patricia Mulcahy has over twenty-seven years experience as a strategic leader, researcher and lecturer in higher education. She has held the post of President of Institute of Technology Carlow since 2012 and has overseen its development to its current position as the fourth largest Institute of Technology in Ireland. A biochemist who has held research positions in NUI Galway and Dublin City University, she maintains a strong research profile while acting as an advisor to several regional, national and international bodies. Dr. Mulcahy is a champion of the further development of education in securing sustained long-term and regionally-balanced progress on economic, social and environmental fronts.
Ms. Rodriguez started her career at UPS in 2001 in Dublin as a billing administrator. After several administrative and team leader roles, including a special assignment in Italy, she was promoted to Finance & Accounting supervisor in 2006. In 2008, Elisabeth was then named Billing Manager for UPS Ireland CSTC, before becoming the new UPS North Europe F&A Manager in Brussels starting July 2010. A year later, she took on the role of UPS Europe Small Package Finance Manager. Before accepting her current position, she was promoted to Finance Manager for the Nordics in 2014, and was based in Stockholm. She moved to London in April 2017 to accept broader responsibilities in the role of Finance Director for the Ireland, UK and Nordics District.
Elisabeth Rodriguez holds a degree in Marketing from the Dublin Institute of Technology and an executive MBA from Dublin City University.
Ciaran Corcoran has been Site Director of Abbott Diagnostics Longford since 2015. As part of Abbott, a global healthcare company, the Longford facility was established in 2004 and currently employs more than 350 people involved in the design, development, and manufacturing of in-vitro diagnostic products. The company’s product portfolio includes diagnostic reagents for the detection of thyroid, fertility/pregnancy, cardiology, renal, and metabolic markers. Ciaran has a PhD in Organic Chemistry and a degree in Biology and Chemistry, from Maynooth University, Ireland. He has over 16 years of experience in various companies including Mallinckrodt, Abbvie Pharma, Abbott Diagnostics and Abbott Biologics in the areas of Start-Up, Research & Development and Operations.
