After so many sexual harassment allegations in the media in recent weeks we explore this area to assist you with the challenges they cause. What procedures should you have in place to help prevent sexual harassment and protect your employees? We will give you practical tips and advice on managing work social events and take a look at the gender pay gap and how Ibec propose the reporting of this.
08.30 – 09.00 Ciaran Loughran, IR/HR Executive, Knowledge Centre, Ibec will give you guidance on your obligations and responsibilities when organising a work social event, how you can manage these events to ensure they are enjoyed safely.
09.00-09.20 Kara McGann, Senior Labour Market Policy Executive, Ibec, will outline what the gender pay gap involves, the main causes and the model of reporting that Ibec have proposed to the Government.
09.20-09.50 Rhona Murphy, Head of Legal Services, Ibec will present on the area of harassment and sexual harassment in the workplace, how to manage these issues and establish company policy in line with case law.
09.50 – 10.15 Discussion/Q&A
The meeting will commence at 08.30am and conclude at 10.15am. Registration and tea/coffee will commence at 08.00am.
