Ibec Networks unlocks the potential that exists across different sector associations to realise real business opportunities for our members. We create forums and opportunities that connect members with key business issues and the critical work that Ibec is doing on your behalf – relevant events, expert briefings, policy committees, training and practical business information.
In addition to the Travel, Leisure & Hospitality Network and the Health & Social Care Network, new Business Networks have been established including the Recruitment Agency Network, Facility Services Network and a Childcare Network.
The creation of these specific networks enables members within these sectors to gain access to knowledge, up to date industry news, tailored seminars and connections for their business. The work programme of each network is agreed by the group and focuses on key issues that are relevant to them and their sector.
Health & Safety Hospitality Managers Network
Following discussion with members the Health & Safety Hospitality Managers network was established for employees within the hospitality sector with responsibility for OHS. This group meets to discuss and gain information on Health and Safety including managing insurance costs, HSA engagement and inspections.
HR Forums & Webinars
The Networks HR Forums are practical forums with presentations on HR policy and best practice, recent case law as well as updates on emerging industrial relations and employment law. The forum is also an opportunity to network with other members. HR Webinars and Business Information seminars offer further supports to members.
